What "light" means
A brush hog is a rough-cut mower run behind a tractor. It's built for tall grass, weeds and light brush. It isn't built for trees.

Straight answers
What do you need to give me a price?
What it is, where it is, where it's going and when you need it done. For equipment, the make and model tell us the weight. For junk, send a photo of the pile. For brush hogging, send the rough acreage and a photo of the thickest growth.
How much does it cost?
Every job is different, so we quote each one. Distance, weight, access and how overgrown the ground is all change the number. Tell us what, where and when and we'll work it out.
My machine doesn't run. Can you still move it?
Maybe. Tell us whether it rolls and steers, and send a photo of where it's sitting. We'll tell you straight whether we can load it.
What can't you haul off?
Anything a landfill can't legally take: hazardous chemicals, liquid paint, fuel, used motor oil and car batteries. Ask us before you count on tires or anything with refrigerant in it, like a fridge or an AC unit. If we can't take something, we'll say so.
How is brush hogging different from forestry mulching?
A brush hog is a heavy rough-cut mower for tall grass, weeds and light brush. It leaves the cuttings where they fall, and it doesn't grind trees or stumps. Land that has grown up in trees needs a mulcher or a dozer, and that's not us.
